Meet Dr. Santiago

Comprehensive Personalized Approach

Dr. Diana Santiago is a bilingual (English and Spanish), board-certified Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatrist. She specializes in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, women’s health, adolescent medicine, and substance use. Known for her empathetic and thoughtful approach, she helps patients achieve balance and peace of mind.

Areas of Focus

She works with patients facing self-esteem challenges, excessive worry, relationship or work stress and medical conditions affecting mood.
Dr. Santiago provides personalized care through psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both.

Experience

Dr. Santiago completed her Adult Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital – University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She earned her MD from Universidad Militar in Bogotá, Colombia. With over 20 years of experience, including extensive work with the Latino population, she has practiced in outpatient clinics, psychiatric units, ERs, state hospitals, jails, and telepsychiatry.

1. Assessment

60 – 90-minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation with parent or legal guardian and patient. Dr Santiago will evaluate the patients’ current symptomatology, make an assessment, and offer a personalized treatment plan.

2. Follow Up

30 minutes appointment. Dr. Santiago will monitor your response to treatment and adjust as needed.

3. Form

Prices and Policies

We currently do not accept insurance, Medicaid or Medicare; we are considered out of network providers. We can provide a superbill for out-of network patients. A standard one-page invoice can be provided for patients to submit to their insurance.

Children and Adolescents:

Initial Psychiatric Consultation:
60- 90 minutes – $450
Follow-up Medication Management:
30 minutes – $225

Adults:

Initial Psychiatric Consultation:
45-60 minutes – $425
Follow-up Medication Management:
30 minutes – $200

New Patient:

An intake form and a service agreement form will be e-mailed after you complete the screening form, and you schedule an initial appointment. Completion of these forms is required prior to your first visit. Once you have scheduled your appointment and received your confirmation e-mail, please make sure you sign the forms before the appointment begins. Dr. Santiago will not start the evaluation until it is signed.

Payment:

We accept checks, cash, and all major credit cards for all professional services. Payment for services is collected the day of your appointment.

Cancellation policy:

A full session fee will be charged for cancelled or missed appointments. Patients can cancel up to 24 hours before their scheduled appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time a cancellation fee will be charged. Email and telephone are acceptable ways to cancel your appointment.

Emergencies:

In the event of an emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest Urgent Care or Emergency Department. You may also contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: Call/text 988. Available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Non-urgent matters:

Please send a message through the portal or leave a message and Dr. Santiago will respond within 48 hours. Please be aware that e-mail is not a confidential means of communication, and it is not to be used to discuss clinical information or for urgent matters. The e-mail info@dspsychiatry.com is only for initiating contact, scheduling purposes, sending forms, or communicating logistical information. Clinical advice will not be sent by email. No prescriptions will be provided over the phone.

Late Appointments:

Appointments will need to be rescheduled if you are more than 15 minutes late. No shows will result in being charged the full cost of the service.

Services NOT provided:

Dr. Santiago does not provide any emotional support animal letters, legal evaluations, court related testimony paperwork, or long term disability paperwork.

Other Detailed Documentation Paperwork – $100 (FMLA, school accommodations).
